That sounds like a good start. It is just about impossible to say what will get you in for sure when it comes to these schools. If you have family that went there, if you're good at sports, if you're exceptional at the arts, any of those things will help.

Note that there are lots of exceptional schools where you can be just as happy (if not happier) than Harvard. It's best to have a few schools in mind to reduce the pressure on yourself.

It sounds like you have a good start on accomplishing your goal. Get an application early and take your time on those essay questions, they can set you apart from other applicants.

Good Luck. Even if you don't make it into Harvard, continue your hard work in college and maybe look back at Harvard for grad school.

On GPA alone, it's good enough. They don't reject every person who doesn't have an unweighted 4.0. I take it you know that GPA is only one part of the package.

Harvard has a lot of other things they look at, including SAT, ACT, where you live, what your race is, what your nationality is and who your family is.
