I know how lonely you feel. My husband was addicted to that game for over 2 years. He would stay on for 18-23 hours at times....before that game, it was ultima online. This will ruin your marriage, i promise that. Does he lose his temper if you interrupt him in the middle of something? Mine did. We would fight all the time because he wouldnt help me with our son, clean, even just spend time with me after he had been at work all day. Luckily for me, i am very outspoken and game him an ultimatum. I told him it was the game or his family( im oregnant with our 2nd at this time) The important thing about that, was i was really going to leave him.Don;t ever threaten anything that you arent willing to do. He tried to pull the"ill only play 2 hrs a day" thing, and for the first day or so he did, but after that it was back to how it was before. I told him he was addicted and needed help, you know what he told me..that i was addicted to watching TV..lol. and that i should stop doing that. Your husband may try to turn things around on you, mine sure did. But after that ultimatum, he chose us. This addiction is actually like an alcohol or drug addiction and thats what you and he need to understand. When someone is addicted to alcohol, they cant have just one drink, right? same with this game. My husband has quit playing 100% and is seeking gamer counseling. Those years were the worst of my life, i felt like a prisoner. I really hope you get help, and if you need to talk, complain, or cry to somebody im here-cherokee_pimpstress@yahoo.com subject:WOW

He has to 1) Admit he has a problem and 2) Take steps to fix it, even if it means stopping to play the game altogther. If he's not willing to do either, there's not much you can do, unfortunately, except divorce his a**. My husband and I play World of Warcraft, but we're not addicted, and have a normal and functional life. It is possible to enjoy the game and yet to remain fully functional. You have to try and make your husband understand where you're coming from. Try your best.

Get involved, WoW is a family oriented game. Incidently, I know of several familys that play online games together. I wonder who really spends hours playing with their kids anyway, don't they have their own playmates? Perhaps you and your man should play as a couple, with out you two the children wouldn't be there...you need a life outside of raising kids you realize! = )

first of all, WoW isn't a drug. you do not grow to be hooked on it. I play, I used to swear that I performed too a lot (per chance 3-4 hours an afternoon) yet on account that I were given married, i ought to cope with a million-2 hours at a time (not wide-spread). you're attacking the issue incorrect. supply him an decision. do not purely say "do not play WoW.". attempt "enable's flow out to dinner this evening.". Plan some style of interest that ought to save him from the computer. Get something else to do and see if he nonetheless chooses WoW over that. purely putting forward "do not Play" will leave him with "If not playing, then what?" I play when I have not something better effective to do (which isn't as many times). supply him something better effective to do and see what takes position.

Disconnect the internet. Thats what I did. When he decided to compromise with me, i had it reconnected. He limited his time thereafter.
