Reading a wide variety of sources is important in today's society so that we can learn from the past and prevent mistakes in the future.
Not enough people in today's society read, which is why we are seeing historical mistakes repeat themselves.
Reading also stimulates the mind and can cause people to think and come up with answers to the problems & issues facing society today.
