I am smart, but I am lazy. My grades in high school reflected the laziness.

Definition of smart (adjective) - intelligent; clever; impertinent; shrewd; energetic; lively; fashionable; stylish.
One might consider "smart" to pertain to Intelligence only! But as the above definitions suggest, this word can mean many things.
Most folk are 'smart' in one way or another - snappy dressers, sneaky (in a special sort of way) and even 'bright'.
Personally, I believe that everyone is smart in one way or another.
As a 700 year old Sasquatch, I have obtained a lot of useless information. Thus, I might be thought of as smart. My IQ is below that of Mister Albert Einstien but well above 120. Still, I cannot be thought of as anywhere close to what he achieved.
I believe I am smarter than ... let's say President Bush - But I do not make anywhere near what he does in a year.

Yes I do. Not in every subject of course, but I consider myself well versed enough to carry on an intellectual conversation about many things, therefore I consider myself smart :)

Ive never met ANYONE who considers themself dumb. Even the dumbest folks really are not aware of it. (and yes, I suppose that might include myself also. lol). Its like driving a car, we all know someone who is really a BAD driver, but THEY never think they are. They just cant figure out why nobody wants to ride shotgun with them when they are driving.
