This might seem like a stupid question but I am just wondering what kind of paper are pay stubs printed on, I'm bored to death right now folks and I was looking at my pay stub when it hit me, either way I was thinking of opening up an accounting office in my area once I finish College.

Depends on the company. There is no standard special paper like there is for money.

Any good financial software (e.g. Quicken) will be able to print out checks on any kind of paper. Any office supply store will have "payroll check" blank forms that you can just print on.

My wife works for a small company, and her paychecks from there are basically just like a personal check, only the business name is at the top.

It depends.......because some small companies just use regular checks but bigger companies use check paper that has built in safety features. Like the watermark on the back that disappears when you breath on it or apply a little heat to it. You can get it directly through a supplier or an office supply store.

I checked with the State of Arkansas Attorney Generals office, and employers here are not required to give pay stubs.
