Most Americans think it is the democrats or the republicans lying to us. It is both parties lying to us, they are just going at it from different angles!
Most Americans just pick a side and accept whatever they say. It is easier for them to let others do their thinking for them. If the six o'clock news says the soldiers don't want to be in Iraq they believe it
They can't be bothered looking at all the letters from soldiers that are anxious to return because of the 'good they are doing'.
They are comfortable saying issues such as abortion or smoking bans doesn't matter to them because it doesn't directly affect them. They are comfortably numb accepting things as they are. They do not realize that our rights are slowly being taken away right under our noses. One reason is 'they' make it out as if it is for 'our own good'. GPS is for our own good because if we get lost GPS can find us. GPS can also 'watch' us like BIG BROTHER! People are eagerly taking the chip so that they can get through lines faster, not realizing it will one day be mandatory for the mark of the beast.
There is a saying:
They came first for the Communists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn't speak up because I was a Protestant Then they came for me, and by that time no one was left to speak up.

It is only 30% of the American people, 70% do know, this coincides with Bush's approval rating, 70% against 30%. The way I have it figured the 30% have got to be the most mentally challenged of the population to even think that he told the truth, maybe about anything in his whole entire presidency, I am beginning to think after reading some of their answers in here that they shouldn't be allowed to breed, they should be fixed so they do not enter the gene pool. Dumb enough to vote for him, no once but twice but so dumb that they still support him.

Most of us know already. That's why support for GWB is at an all time low. The ones who still believe in him benefit from the lies.

All you have to do is get the most popular celebrity to tell them. Sadly, people listen to celebrities more than their own good sense, so take advantage of that fact. Get them on the talk show circuit (Leno, Letterman, Oprah, etc.) and people will eat it up.

You start by not sounding like a screwball liberal who posts dumb questions on yahoo because none of his friends will listen to his crackpot theories. That and its help if we REALLY were lied too.

Politicians have ALWAYS lied to us. We just didn't figure it out until Nixon.

Most are starting to realize it, though some will probably be unable to admit it for psychological reasons of their own.
