In theory, technology enables us to be more powerful than any generation before us. But is also comes with a lot of distractions (particularly the Internet).

How do you deal with that? Embrace it? Enjoy it? Trammel it? Pull the plug?

I just roll with it. I mean I don't let the internet or any other modern day technology cripple me. It is extremley helpful but on the other hand it can be extremley harmful. I work with computers and from time to time they go down and we are left to other resources like paper and pencil, phone book, etc. And yes under those circumstances it is a headache but only because we are so used to doing things the easy way, but easy is not alway sufficient. I do know that it has caused a 'lazy' generation of people.

I work in it. After 8 hrs (or more) per day, 5 (or more) days per week I don't feel like using any technology. I read books. The only reason why I'm online now is because I was at bn.com looking ofr the next book I want to read.
