I'm having one heck of a time finding a rear race stand for this bike THAT CLEARS THE REAR FENDER ! So far I own three, including the one Kawasaki sells for this bike..The problem ? The rear fender appears to be longer on the U.S. model, resulting in pinched fingers at the least and total incompatability at worst.. My dealer tells me he CAN NOT order parts for a Canadian model (shorter rear fender ) for my U.S, model, who knows why.. Emissions / M.V. codes, etc. I assume.. But a rear fender ? Give me a break !! So if he can't (won't), I can and will !! I live in Northeast N.Y.. The address / website of a nearby Canadian Kawasaki dealer who can / will supply the shorter unit would be a BIG help.. Thanks in advance..

Remove the fender. Install a fender eliminator kit. It'll give the bike a more sportier look and eliminate your fender woes.

You can order parts for the Canadian model here -

I'm a little confused? I've never had any problems using a rear wheel stand on that model. Are you using a paddock style (flat pads that the swingarm rests on) or a spool type? The threaded holes on the bottom of the swingarm are there to mount "spools". The stand lifts up on those spools.

Got a hacksaw? No, seriously, if they're going to give you static about ordering stuff, then 'mod it to suit your needs...just check your states' DOT requirements for fenders if you're going to be operating on a public road...
