i think the dress looks fine, but a homecoming dance is normally considered a formal affair. It would also depend on what your date is wearing. If he is in a tux, then the dress would not be appropriate. It he is wearing something less formal such as slacks and a sport coat, it would be just fine.

If I was a loving mother and supportive friend: Sure, its cute and if that's your style, go with it and don't forget acessories!
If I was looking at the store and saw that: no, homecoming is more dressed up and that dress just wouldn't do.
So personally; if that is your style, go for it. If its just something that was in your closet; go get something more formal.

no!! it's pretty ugly. it looks too immature. buy a spaghetti strap dress with a lower neck. never wear a dress with a high neck or sleeves more than 3" to homecoming
