I flew to Las Vegas a couple of years ago with some friends to see Rod Stewart at The MGM Grand and even though I wasn't a huge fan, I have to say he put on a fabulous show. I've never seen Phil Collins in concert so I would have to go with Rod!

Phil Collins is a marginally better singer..I quite liked him before he dumped his wife by fax and then ran off with that young Swiss girl! Rod Stewart is overrated as a singer- he's just got a husky voice!!

Have to go with your first Answerer, ben b - but if my back was against the wall it would be Rod, just cos he is a bit of a Bod and I have seen him in performance. Thankfully, I have never seen Phil the Pillock live.

I prefer Phil Collins.
Talented drummer, not bad singer, was in Genesis, writes his own songs, is hugely successful as a solo artist, played at Live Aid on both sides of the Atlantic, and is regarded as one of the best drummers alive.
Stick that accolade up gravelly voiced Rod Stewarts ****.
