experience (or too much experince) does not mean will be helpful to build a strong lasting relationship.. what are the dos and don'ts I should be doing to help him and me be in a healthy postive relationship..

do you mean sexual? Buy books and listen to his idesa if theyre normal and fine...if youre engaged..

Where previous "experience" is a problem is in the expectations it causes. People are different: what was okay and fun then is not necessarily fun--or even okay--with this other person. One must be willing to "leave and cleave" as the Bible puts it. In 21st century America terms, let the other person be unique.

Trust, respect, communication. Don't go to bed angry. If you have kids, don't fight in front of your kids. Don't be selfish, put your partner and your partners feelings and needs before your own. Make God the center of your relationship. Also don't confuse intimacy with sex. You can be initmate with your partner without sex being involved.

just trust each other and work together not alone and compromise that is a big factor
