I agree with Rattyfrags, but there is avery nifty work-around for this, which my ferrets have, and which I was wondering if rats might have too? You see, if you feel a ferret's rib-cage, there are little knobby things on the ribs, which are actually points which act a bit like hinges, allowing the ferret to fold up a little in the middle, in order to fit through tight spaces.
So basically, I find this question fascinating, and would love if Rattyfrags would add to his/her reply, and tell me if they feel anything like this on the rat's ribs, or if it is just so delicate and flexible, that it bends where needed to fit through?
Just cos I know either of them can fit into anywhere their whole head fits into.

Rats are double jointed. They do have a skeletal structure like most animals, but can't dislocate their joint bones they'r just versatile & ever so flexible. This is usually to escape from sticky situations, prey or to get into small spaces such as holes. I know this as I used to keep 4. xxx

No, I just think theyre incredibly flexible and their skeletons are tiny under all that fur and skin. Ive had pet rats for over 10 years and have never once read or heard that they dislocate bones to fit through small holes.

If i will undergo in innovations wisely... first placed in basic terms the saddle on the pony without a saddle pad or girth related and lead your horse for a minute. If it would not fall off the pony, then stable. After that saddle the pony with the pad and all that and hop on. There must be sufficient space for 2 hands between the withers and the pommel ingredient. once you trip pay extra suitable interest to be sure experience if it motives the pony any soreness or if it pinches the pony. I examined my saddle out for each week and it became out stable. some people could attempt out ten saddles in the previous they discover one that suits the two them and their horse. stable success!

Those other people dont know what they're talking about...of course rats have bones. If they cant gnaw themselves out from small spaces such as drainpipes, they will stay there until they die and what a smell it would be.
