i was just looking thru the spec sheets of the ninja, and the torque value for the 500 isnt shown. any1 have a ninja-500 or would know the rear wheel torque value?

34 ft lbs.

46 Nm x .737 = 33.9 ft lbs

i would assume that the 500 would be in the vicinity of 36 ft. pounds. from what i see on the 600 ninja, max torque is 48.5 at a 'low' 7,000 rpm

A half-liter bike probably won't have more than 60-80lb. of torque, and that might be a high guess, even. If you want chain-stretching, bike-flipping, neck-snapping torque, get a liter-bike...but wear full riding gear...
