make weird noises?!

You bet it does! It is a large old country house, with lots of rooms and passage ways. There are lots of trees around it, and open moorland. I have no neighbours. The wind whistles down the chimney, the floor boards creek and the occasional bird flies in through an open door or window and manages to get shut in the house. It usually waits until dark when I am in bed before making its`presence known to me, by flying and squawking around the house and making the dogs bark.The very first time it happened, I was petrified and put my head under the duvet , like a little child afraid of the bogey-man! I`m used to it now, I don`t hide under the covers anymore.

Yes!! when i turn the heating on or off the floorboards creek and when its windy the fan in the bathroom makes really load noises. At first i thought this house was haunted !

Only when it's really windy, then the siding makes a whistling noise.

No, but I heard that Liam Gallaghers does! He thinks that there is a ghost that takes his keys and pounds on the walls! I believe him. Isn't all of Europe haunted to some extent?

yes. it creeks a lot, whistles and bit and sometimes it just sort of click click clicks. it can be a bit unnerving at times. its quite an old house so i put it down to expansion and shrinking with the weather conditions etc. or there again, it could be the ghost

Only that the siding makes snapping sounds when it expands and contracts with the heat and the cold.

YES! We believe we actually have a ghost in the house. Our house is an older home and it has it creaks...

the place I work in sure does.......my house has been settling for a while now so there are no new noises yet..but I think my work place has other issues...you know........

Yes, sometimes, when i'm on my own in the house, it sounds like someone is walking around upstairs. Its eerie.

All the time my home creaks and bangs all the time. Scary at times cos it sounds like footsteps sometimes.
