Does anyone know how to reset a IBM T22 laptop? The battery was drained so the computer went into hybernation and now I can't start it. There is no reset button the bottom llke there are on some models.

Take the battery out and you can see the small cmos battery, remove it for a while it may let out of hibernation. I always disable hibernation for that very reason. Sleep is just as good and you don't have the risk.

1. Remove the battery
2. Press the power button 11 times and on the 11th time hold it in for 30 seconds.
3. Reinsert the battery

If problems persist look in the HMM (Hardware Maintenance Manual).
