I would think this depends entirely on the menu ...
If you're dining on oysters, go with the Minnie Pearl hat.
If you're feasting on roast lamb and swilling down glasses of mead, choose the Viking hat.
If you're eating fresh beef and beans, go with the cowboy hat.

I'd go with the Viking hat. It is Superbowl weekend after all. I realize they didn't make it to the game, but it would look really cool. I know the Cowboys are a team as well, but a Viking hat would really stand out.

For Halloween? Whichever one you can fit the rest of your outfit to match. Cowboy is an easy fake; jeans, boots, a red bandanna, perhaps a flannel plaid shirt. Viking takes a lot of specialized stuff, like something to resemble warrior gear; leather and metal breastplates, etc.; maybe some furs. Minnie Pearl hat (complete with price tag) is only effective if you have a really really corny cotton house-dress to wear with it, and big clodhopper type boots.

Couldn't you combine the Minnie Pearl and Viking hats? You would be intimidating, yet feminine and sassy, at the same time.

Viking Hat. If you take home any meat for leftovers, you can hook them on your horns. LOL

It depends on whether your handbag is a picnic basket, leather sling or saddle.
