I am glad you qualified the word Muslims with radical. And most people from the US agree that radical Muslims have a conflicting agenda from us.
What I would like to see, is Syria step in and negotiate peace between the Shiites and Sunnis. Even now, I don't know that it will be enough, because I don't even think they know what they are fighting for anymore.
I also believe, due to our invasion of Iraq, that radical Muslims have moved into Iraq with their own agenda. It's pretty difficult to fight a war, when they people you are fighting don't fight the way you fight. If the Iraqis could unite, and take control of their own country, maybe the rebels would take a hike.
By the way, it's the Iraqis that are suffering more deaths than the US. While we have lost over 3,000 troops, they have lost over 60,000 people. The radicals are attacking their market places, their schools, their homes...so in essence the Muslims are killing Muslims...they must be very proud.

Kevin, I hate to be the one to tell you but Americans all realize that the Muslims hate us. Simply because we are not Muslims! From the way things look in Iraq; even being a Muslim isn't enough, you have to be the right kind of Muslim; whatever that means. At the rate they are killing each other, I don't believe they have decided yet what kind of Muslim you have to be to stay alive! A sorry state indeed. Yes, we know they want to kill us & unless our borders are a lot more secure than they are now, they will come again. By cutting back on the Border Patrol & Shore Patrol, they won't have a difficult time in achieving their goal of killing more Americans.

Libs amaze me when they say that they worry more about Bush than radical muslims. The only way some of these idiots would ever figure out that radical muslims want to kill them is to have them show up at their local marketplace with a bomb strapped to their waist. Bush has never killed a person, but radical muslims are killing thousands. Maybe if we sent them to Iraq for a year, they might get the picture......

Liberals know that it's not just radical muslims nor just Americans. So what do YOU want to do? Crusades? Barring that, nukes? How do you kill 2 Billion people before they kill you.

This is a great question. Radical muslims are a huge threat to the United States, but most americans don't seem to care and others are actively working to prevent us from defending ourselves. It really is a bizarre situation. I feel the US is in a very precarious position in it's history at this time. Americans are too preoccupied with their iPods and running up credit card bills to pay any attention to the threat. Muslim terrorism could severely impact the country if they obtain a nuclear weapon, smuggle it into the US and detonate it. Remember there are also strategic threats to the US out there: a unified Europe, a formidable rising power in China, a rebuilding Russia, and some others.
People do need to wake up, but the media seems to think the USA is wrong in everything it does and being aware of threats is viewed as non-PC. It will be interesting to see how many Americans survive the next 50 years.

Nothing you or I can say will convince the left of that fact. They thought the Soviets were the good guys during the Cold War, and they find the President a bigger threat than al Qaeda today. They're beyond help and are seditious weasels.

Oh stop talking down to Americans. We already know this. We also know that bombing a country that had nothing to do with radical muslims, 9/11 or wmd's is going to create more terrorists and more problems for America down the road. We Americans also know that there is no more victory to be acheived in Iraq because it isn't a war based on terrorism. It's a civil war between competing tribal factions in Iraq: the Shiite and teh Sunni's. Both of which have extremist Islamic factions under both sects who are carrying out bombings against eachother. We Americans want to know why you last 28% don't understand that?
The neo-cons are much more frightening to me than the muslims outside our borders. The Bush/Cheney neo cons are just too anxious and happy to disregard our Constitution and bill of Rights.

So shall we kill all muslims for worry that a number of them might desire to be radicals? How do you tell the version? have they have been given wrist-bands like Lance Armstrong's different than theirs say LIVEMUSLIM or maybe DIECAPITALISTPIGS? As for feeling such as you're scuffling with against the logic of a 4 365 days previous, you're coming up a controversy the place there is none. all of us, Democrats and Republicans alike, comprehend that there are Islamic extremists. the version is that Democrats additionally comprehend there are various extra Muslims that don't wish us lifeless. Why is it that for the duration of basic terms Republicans have a issue seeing this whilst something of the full international would not. of direction, you're in all probability a sort of Republicans that won't be able to admit to being incorrect and nonetheless have faith what Bush and his cronies make it easier to be attentive to even whilst confronted together with his outright lies like, "i do no longer think of our troops might want for use for what's referred to as u . s .-development. . . . i think of what we would desire to do is convince people who stay in the lands they stay in to construct the international locations. perchance i'm lacking something right here. I propose, we could have a sort of u . s .-development corps from u.s.? relatively no longer." relatively no longer? those Bush adult males specific do have short thoughts whilst it comprises issues they have been against whilst attempting to get elected. as quickly as the election is over nonetheless, boy is it a distinctive tale. The rotten apple would not fall some distance from the tree, i assume. undergo in innovations this one? "study my lips: No new taxes!" Like father, like son.

Kevin, it's time to stop finger pointing. Its not about republican and democrat. I'm a former soldier who has seen first hand the effects of this war. Its about money. and control and fear on Americans. both republicans and democrats are running this country into the ground. you can either unite or continue to be divided, just like they want to you too. it's time to unite like the name says, United, States.
The question you should ask is how do we convince americans that they have been lied too? nevermind i'll ask it. look for it on yahooanswers.

It is a very serious problem since too many Americans believe that the Muslims are good people and don't want to harm us. Their Qu'ran says that they should convert the world's population by peaceful as well as violent means. The Jihad section of the Qu'ran clearly states that killing a non-believer is acceptable and if the Jihadist dies in his efforts then he will immediately go to Paradise where 72 virgins are waiting for him. What the Qu'ran doesn't say is that these virgins (all of them) are toothless and look like pigs.
