am a migrant from Africa with very good English and being a presenter has been my dreams, i sometimes pretend am a presenter in front of a camera and read news.Am looking for a mentor or media that will help me achieve my dreams by letting me work as a volunteer in the industry as a pathway to my dreams of being a presenter. i just dont know where to start as most places i see are agents or colleges. i cannot afford that as a new migrant but want to achieve my dreams despite the inabilityto pay for media courses. i sometimes picture myself on the screen as most presenters on screen are not from Africa, i would love to break that chain and be a wonderful african presenter. i know i can do it if i get a mentor or get in media who are willing to give me a go.is there any out there?i really need this chance.

I think the word for what you are looking for is an internship. You might start by calling the three major network offices and asking about the process of applying for an internship. But first, better learn that MEDIA is the plural and MEDIUM is the singular. There are print media and broadcast media, but TV is only one MEDIUM.

Good luck! Don't give up!
