BMG has beeen huge for years. It is legit, I was a member for a long time. However keep in mind though, that you are responsible for the shipping and handling costs. Alot of people get burnt cause they do not read the fine print. For cheap cd's, I would try a local used music shop. They normally have a big selection to choose from, but watch out for prepackaging as new.

Stay away from that BMG ****. Im gonna tell you what to do. Search around your city for stores that specialize in used CDs. I know what you are saying-used CDs? They are gonna be scratched. No they arent. We have 3-4 good stores in my area which only sell used CDs, these people wont buy any CDs from you if they have the slightest scratch and they wont sell any that are scratched. If you happen to buy a bad one they will replace it as long as you have your receipt. You can buy CDs for 5-6-7 bucks. Sometimes less. Look around your area for stores like that.
With BMG you get X amount of CDs real cheap, but then you are required to buy X amount more at a very high price.

Amazon.com has used CDs that are sometimes cheap. It really depends on what CD it is you're looking for... hard to find CDs that are now out of print can be pretty pricey.
If you have a Half Price Book Store in your area you can check there, or a Music Trader store.
Yes, the 12 CDs for 1 cent deal is legit, BUT, you have to join the club & be sure to mail something back saying you DON'T want their "Featured CD of the Month" or they'll mail it to you anyway & then you either have to pay to return it, or pay for it -- even if you don't want it. At least that's how it was ~ 10 years ago. Maybe it's changed.

Djangos.com is a good used/new CD site with good prices and an above average selection.
BMG is legit. I believe you end up spending around 6 or 7 dollars per CD when all is said and done (mostly shipping charges and the full price requirements). The selection though is pretty awful unless all you listen to is on Billboard charts.
