Throughout history all of these things are interlinked to some extent, conversations about them illicit 'hate', and out there I am sure many open-minded, educated, worldly, spiritual people have considered that Greed is the reason we are at this point in the road... so convince me I'm wrong... tell me why this brush is not appropriate for all of these problems!

I hope you don't mind if I agree with you. (Not sure about what you mean by depression - if you mean economic depression I'm with you). All of these problems do stem from greed.

Whether the benefit is an improved financial or social standing, those who would victimize others for their own benefit - are basing their actions on selfish desires. These are crimes of conscience for the sane but necessary evils for those vying for most types of power.
