Nice smells always make you feel nice. Isn't that what an aphrodesiac is supposed to do? Maybe for some people it's a turn on.

Smell is linked most closely of all the senses to our memory.

If you get a whiff something that reminds you of a sexy experience, or gives you that warm fuzzy feeling to remind you of a time when you were happy, innocent, vulnerable, and treated well...you can definitely get aroused from that memory.

This is not about thinking about your moms cookies and getting all turned on...it could be as innocent as thinking about how secure you felt being nurtured by your mom...and how she treated you to be honest and kind and affectionate. Since all this stuff is good during a sex experience, AND don't forget that for a lot of men, the expression of these things is sexual...this is not a straightforward fantasy about your mom. It is about you being emotionally content, and willing to share that with someone else through the connection of sex.

Our subconscious minds are all linked up with sequences of events from the past. Let's say hypothetically that ten years ago, you had a romantic supper with your wife or girlfriend, and then snuggled up with a blanket that smelled like fabric softener, and then did the deed...well, your brain remembers that. Even now, you could be aroused by any smell from that situation that triggered it back to your mind...a spice or distinct aroma of something in the supper, the blanket, or some product in the air, or on her or your skin when it happened. It works this way because your brain remembers that in the past, you smelled that thing and then got laid...and you end up wanting to get laid by starting the sequence of events with that smell memory.

Dryer sheets is one of those many things that can make you horny.

So can perfume, shampoo, laundry detergent, cleaning products, food smells, febreze, leather, new car smell, POS car smell (high school backseat making out), sweat....anything that has even a hint of a scent.

No, their not. But they can fill up your dryer filter with a fine lint that you can't see, it also can block the air flow in your dryer. Causing it to catch fire. To find out if your filter is blocked run the filter under water. Watch how it holds the water. Always clean your filter really good so that your dryer has good air circulation.

I don't know if it is for humans - they don't do anything for me personally except that I did contact a manufacturer to locate a specific scent once. I just thought it was because I liked the smell. My cat goes crazy over them though! She rolls on them and plays like they were catnip. I've always wondered why she did that. Maybe there is something to it.

My mother in law stuck them in our bed when we were visiting once and my husband and I were like"what the heck is that smell?" Not a turn on to us, it reminded me too much of folding the laundry...not exactly a sexy thought unless you enjoy having sex on top of freshly clean laundry...hey, to each his own...
