Unlike the above answer, I understand why you would think it would hurt you in any way dying your hair. Its normal to be worried about small stuff like this. I died my hair at the beginning of my pregnancy, in fact i got a perm without even knowing i was pregnant. You will be fine, dying your hair is absolutely fine as long as you cover your face a majority of the time or not stay in the room for long periods of time. Make sure you get fresh air every so often. You will do fine and I am sure your hair will turn out perfect! Good luck with your new look!

If I actually were you i'd wait really only to be preserve by way of very truth it extremely is accepted time for undesirable topics to happen. What my health care professional recommended me replaced into the in common words actual probability is the fumes, so ensure you're in a nicely ventilated section. i have were given dyed my hair some situations for the era of my being pregnant and each and each and every little ingredient is dazzling. I in common terms grew to develop into the lavatory fan on and saved the window open. also my health care professional recommended me on the difficulty of the vegetable dyes, that they are plenty safer. I in common terms used ones that were semi eternal and did no longer have any ammonia or different tremendous harsh chemical elements. yet another ingredient I could grant you with a caution about that i chanced on the complicated way is that the hormones on your body may react weirdly to the hair dye. it may come out looking plenty different than you're hoping. My mild golden brown hair dye grew to develop into my hair organic and organic black :/ sturdy ingredient it replaced into in common terms short-term dye! sturdy fulfillment, and congrats!! :)

On certain conditions...If its a highlighting or bleaching color then no the fumes are too harsh for your baby. If u just wanna dye your hair a single color then thats fine as long as u do it outside or in a well ventilated room *maybe a living room or a bigegr room in the house and have a fan blowing on you so u dont breathe in the fumes....This is what i do when i want to dye my hair, with all 3 pregnancies, and my babys are ok,i use herbal essence as there checmicals do not smell so strong and have a pleasant smell, dont sit in the bathroom and do it..good luck!

I think it is safe. I have heard it was safe. I chose not to dye my hair because I personally believe that chemicals are not a good idea and I don't want it to affect my baby. A lot of people do it though.

It's safe as long as the fumes don't smell. I'm 9weeks and about to dye mine for the 2nd time in this pregnancy. I've dyed my hair in my other 4 pregnancies and my kids came out fine.

Every dr I had with my three children said it was fine. Just becareful if you have morning sickness it might make you sick.
Don't perm you hair cause since you hormones are all out of wack you might end up looking like a poodle. Or have half curly and half straight my friend did that. Not good! For the person talking about Kitty litter is a total different ball game it has bacteria.

Yes and no.
No if you want to do it yourself, yes if you go to a professional. They will more than likely use a semi-perminant, and stay 1/8th of an inch away from your scalp. Sometimes hormones with do strange things to you. You want to keep the dye off your scalp to avoid any allergic reactions.
If you really must do it yourself, stay in a well ventilated area and use a frosting cap. Buy a semi-perminant dye with no ammonia. (your local beauty store or styliest can recomend one) Try to avoid a dye that has a lot of lift in it. (a color more than 5 or 6 shades lighter than your own)

It's not good to dye your hair if you are pregnant (just because other people have done it, what may work for one person, may not work for you). There are certain types of hair dye that you can use if you are pregnant, you just have to check for it.
