The world can sometimes be a difficult place in which to live. Many people feel like they can't really do anything that can change the world around. Do you think it's possible for an individual to create social change in the world around them? And if so, how can they bring about change?

an individual can bring about social change just by their attitude alone. on a larger scale, for instance, if you are a politician and your platform is children. you could bring about a social change by visiting children's schools and/or events and give lectures or offer educational materials to enhance a child's chances at getting a better education. another example is: small town hits oil. a social change occurs when the elite follow the boom.

Well, I really can't say for an individual. But as a group, the hijackers of the 9/11 planes brought major social change around the world. They struck fear into the hearts of many other countries besides America. England, Spain, Italy etc... Things were fine until... Some say it comes down to one person Hussein or Bin Laden
