Sexuality and the need to procreate is a basic human drive. Our brain is programmed to reward sexual behaviour with pleasure as a mechanism of promoting the species. It is very simple - seeing sexual imagery produces a pleasure response. Plus, it has the added benefit of not requiring another participant that would involve the complication of an interpersonal relationship. Gratification with no strings attached.

It fills a basic stimulative need in a mans brain and to a womans to a lesser effect

Unless it has criminal acts in it, I really fail to see why some people make a big deal of it

pornography has helped many people in the sexual relationship of there marriage depending on how it is viewed.
pornography has become very sick now and people who get this martierial are sick themselves i think you know what i mean.
As you have asked why it is so popular Sex sells on the markets
Should be banned full stop.
