I always tipped the delivery driver, because he does not get any of the delivery charge money that is tacked on to the price of the pizza-that goes directly back to the company. I usually tipped around 15-20% per delivery, around $2 or $3.

YES! The driver does not get any of the delivery charge. They only get whatever you tip them. They do get paid for mileage and minimum wages but this does not compensate them for the wear and tear on their vehicles and the fact that they get out in all kinds of weather to deliver to people that aren't willing to go out and pick it up for themselves. I know someone who does this as a second job and sometimes he has to wait outside for 5 min. or more because someone went to take a shower and didn't think he'd be there so soon. This costs him money because he didn't get back in time to get the next delivery order. Tip him or her well, they are doing you a favor.

I usually do, even though it sort of irks me. The store gets the delivery charge. I always feel sorry for the poor delivery guy who relies on tips, so I go ahead and tip anyway.

Any service that you receive you should be tipping, day spa, valet, pizza delivery. Many people don't and it is unsatisfactory. The service industry has some of the hardest working people and they make a majority of their salary off tips. How would you feel if you were not tipped.

I would tip but if you don't want to double tip I would ask the establishment exactly where the delivery charge goes

I usually tip everybody that works hard in the food service industry. So, yes, I would. Usually they add one or two dollars for the delivery service.

We always tip $2 for a normal order. (That's just 2 pizzas) I mean, they have a lousy job and we're ordering because we're too lazy to cook or go out. I call it more of a "convenience fee".
