Singapore is not cheap in any item at all.
If you are really keen go to following 3 places:-
1) Lucky Plaza, Orchard Road
2) China Town
3) Little India and Mohd Ali Store there.

Hey, currently there is this Chinese New Year sales in many places....
Even branded Zara, AX, etc are on sales.....
Places in Orchard - Takashimaya, Heeren, Wisma....
Do enjoy shopping in; Bugis Junction, Raffles places, City Link, Suntec, Orchard, Somerset, Vivo, Plaza Sing, Chinatown, Musatafa, etc......
Prices in SIngapore are all the same... If you saying Levis, Bossini, Giodarno, Zara, AX, etc etc... They have many shops in different area... Their price are all standard...
whether to get cheapest or not, must wait for CNY sales, Singapoe Sales, Christmas sales, Renovation sales, Clearence sales, Opening sales, anniversary sales, and even CLOSING SALES.....

Every country has its own cheapest stuff you can find around. Sales are everywhere and you can get real cheap goods, provided you want to buy them. You really need to narrow down what you want and which country you want to buy in.

Shopping for what? If your talking clothes,youd be suprised to hear its not Walmart. JCPenney always has great sales. I just got a pair of jeans marked down to $8.99. Can't beat that. Ross is cheap,too. I got a shirt for 99 cents. and a sexy red dress for $15 which was normally $50.

for clothes n shoes n accessories-most places r reasonable- dependin on wat type of clothin u r lookin for...street wear..far east plaza or bugis village...workin clothes..maybe osmose if u r female...
for jewelleries-taka jewellery
for eyewear or contact lenses-spectacle hut..hdb area
for food- hawker centre in suburban area like clementi central, ang mo kio central, toa payoh central, etc...market hawker r the cheapest
luggages-mustafa center(24hrs!!)
electronic prod(like digi cam) n computer or dvd player etc-sim lim square
perfume-lucky plaza
premium saloon shampoo or hair product like wax,mask,sculptin lotion,etc like loreal,keratase-lee hwa(toapayoh central) or venus beauty(clementi central)
