Could i pick your brains please? My niec,s daughter is 18 next week and i have no idea what to buy her .She dosent smoke or drink,she works part time in a clothes shop,she is in college,and i want to get her a gift to the value of 25 pounds.Any help appreiciated.

Well, money can't go wrong, but then it'd seem like you didn't even put thought into the gift. How about asking around, like the daughter's parents, friends and people who'd have a better idea of what she likes. That way, you won't end up getting a perfume/gift card/candles/CDs that she already has!
I don't know how much you can get with 25 pounds cos I don't live in the UK lol, but if I were the gift receiver I'd like something that would last forever, or something that I'd be able to cherish for a long time. I don't know if there are any perfumes out there that costs less than 25 pounds, but you try find some.
Some pretty candles and nice essential oils like lavender are good too, although they can only be used once.
You mentioned she works in a clothes shop. Does she like the clothes and fashion from that place? If so, why not get a gift card or voucher of some sort for her then, from that shop?
My best bet is to ask around, ask people who know her well, so you'd get a better idea on what to get for her.

You can never go wrong with money. If she is some who is very feminist you can get her a make up set, perfume, a silver sterling bracelet. You can also get her a gift card to a store she really loves. I've also seen gift certificates where you pay the bank and they put the amount of money on the certificate, and she can put any store she likes on it. then the retailer would get the money from the bank. it sounds pretty good. You can also give her a new bed set. Young Women love new bed sets. You cannot forget shoes. If she likes a certain sport you can take her out to sporting event. But your best bet would be to go with money because then she can get anything she likes.

1. A topshop gift voucher (topshop is great for choice, it covers all styles from the fashionista to the emo!)
2. Something from accessorize, could be a pair of earrings or a nice bag....keep the receipt just in case!

Get her a nice gift bag then buy a set of lotions some candles mabey a gift card a batch of cookies whatever you want really

I think the best thing you could get her is vouchers for a music or book store, that way she can pick what she wants herself , that's what I always go for if I'm stuck for a gift.

Get her some perfume. Get her to go out shopping with you and then casually get her to smell some perfumes. Watever she likes then go up the town a different day and get that perfume. Problem solved.

you could treat her to some store vouchers like top shop or new look,you could buy her a treatment like having her nails done or a facial,a few session on the sun bed,eyebrow wax,eyelash tint, a nice hair do,neck scalfs,cuff watch,thers loads,go for it,you,v got to be a trendy aunty.xx
