What do you think of religions and cultures (mine included) that have huge hang-ups on sex such that a breast cannot even be shown on comercial TV, but dead and mutilated bodies are seen all the time on the news?

good point -- much violence in the bible to study, Christ being whipped and cut in the side and nailed in the hands.... booby? NO WAY!!!!

I do not think I have ever seen a dead mutilated body on the news. I do think that stricter guidelines need to be enforced in all aspects of television. My 7 year old son does not need to see a woman's breast on the t.v. nor does my daughter. This kind of exposure is what is destroying society. We wonder why our children disrespect and are foul mouthed. It is because society lets them and no one wants to do anything about it. The language on TV is ridiculous. Leave the breasts for playboy and bring back the good old fashioned family shows. Enough of the sex already!! I want to sit down with my kids and not have to worry about what we will see or what I will have to explain to them. They are too young for me to have to explain sex to them.

Sex ? There is nothing sexy about dead bodies on any TV. Sex is healthy and releases stress and tension. Problem is i,m not having any.But soon i,ll catch up for lost time. Exposed breast please have some pride. This is not the congo.

Strange, isn't it? They can have heir kids study the rape of the sabines in bible study, but talk to the same child in a realistic an honest manner about how the body works? Not happening.

DEAD BODIES ARE PART OF THE NEWS IN A STRANGE WORLD TODAY AND A SCARY ONE.A BREAST BEING SHOWN AS JUST A HEALTHY NORMAL BREAST,IS NOT NEWS.IT HAS A SEXUAL MEANING THAT REALLY DOESNT BELONG ON PUBLIC TV.DEPENDING ON RELIGION BELIEFS.

i think that all cultures and religions feel the need to form rules or
norms with which to define themselves. for whatever reason, some cultures choose to define nudity and sexuality as "private" and violence and death as acceptable public fare. both can represent base desires. i think that it is just a quirk of humanity that we choose the way we do.
