Bose imo are one of the best speaker manufacturers in the world. Their sound design & placement technology gives a very good soundscape even with computer speakers. You can't go far wrong with these as computer speakers.

Bose sucks! They are one of the most overrated companies in the world! Only people who think they have money buy Bose equipment as a status symbol! Their Bose radio for example boasts the ability to produce sounds as well as a hi power home entertainment system when the truth is, they cost 800 bucks and you can buy an entire hi wattage good sounding system for half the price! A bose radio itself doenst sound much better than a boom box! I repaired home entertainment systems for many years and you cant possibly produce those sounds without moving lots of air! A bose isnt capable of doing this with its tiny speakers! Bose is nothing but hype and only fools pay that kind of money for them! You dont even need to follow what I say, just go out and compare the sound side by side with other systems!
Shawn, all those degrees dont make you an audio buff!
P.S. You cant physically get the kind of sound movement out of those tiny speakers by injection molding a bunch of plastic waveguides around them! This would be defying nature! You have to have lots of cone to push lots of air!

probably one of the best ! they have a reputation for creating great sound from amazingly small speakers. and powerfull too !!
ive seen some less then 4'' total size box speakers made by bose that sounded like a real housespeaker 100 x its size. amazing !! yup pick bose

Can't go wrong with that name. They have a very good reputation for sound products. Not as heard of as most but very good.
