what type of car and what engine, different mufflers will give different sounds on different engines. I'm partial to Flowmaster. I'm throwing a flowmaster 40 series on my truck after I install a new engine, Sounds good on a 5L Ford. But it wouldnt' sound good on a Civic. A little more information is needed.

In my opinion I prefer a deep low rumbling sound on an American V8 engine. The Super Turbo Dynomax does this trick perfectly. To be sure your getting these specific mufflers. The entrance connects to the exit with a straight through the muffler case with a diagonal notched core pipe. No baffles or nonsense, just a sweet tone.
