Water vapors rise up from the ocean to form clouds. The clouds then move over the land and the change in atmospheric pressure causes the clouds to "drop" the rain. It then returns to groundland, rivers, etc and runsoff back into the ocean again. (much of it). This is called "The cycle of Water". Oh, and by the way, that is why we never run out of fresh water. When the vapors from the "saltwater" ocean rise, it leaves the "salt" behind and replenishes the land, lakes, with saltfree "fresh" water. Hope that helps.---theBerean

if there are no clouds, then there is no rain.usually clouds form when the air has moisture, which allows the rain to form inside of the clouds.basically,no clouds means no rain.
