Hi... Since no one else has answered your question :(( I will give it a shot..

WHERE SHOULD YOU STAY? - It depends what you want...
For somewhere classy- JARDIN TROPICAL
http://www.jardin-tropical.com/eng/index.htm
For somewhere with a lively atmosphere LAS PIRAMIDES
http://www.tenerife-uncovered.com/index2.php

Or you could stay in Los Christianos which is less touristy and only a short walk from the nightlife of playa las americas

NIGHTLIFE AND RESTAURANTS- Theres lots.... OK. Tramps http://www.trampstenerife.com/ .Linekers .Wakiki bar .The Dubliner (for Irish jigs) Club Metropole (for a Spanish atmosphere)..
You can find all types of cuisine there..but try the local fish caught fresh in the harbour and tasca (tapas) For a romantic meal go to el patio at the hotel jardin tropical.. It is expensive (but much less than it would be in the UK!)

For more.. This site has all you need to know about entertainment and nightclubs and restaurants etc.. And there is a forum where real people give real opinions on what is hot or not

In Tenerife you can certainly do any such thing you are feeling like any day of the year as a result of its environment, natural surroundings and tourist infrastructure made for fun for the household which means this place is the right area for a good holiday and with hotelbye you can get it. In Tenerife are lots of points waiting for you yourself to discover and some of those is in the south west coast of Tenerife. A place that is a spectacular area for seeing whales free in the ocean. Around 26 species are observed only off the shore, including baleen whales, killer whales, dolphins, pilot whales and even blue whales. In Tenerife you will even see The Teide National Park. At 3,718 metres, Teide volcano is Spain's highest peak and its two ecosystems produce the climb an event packed with contrasts.

Can't talk about clubs - we don't go to them. We've stayed at:
The Vulcano Hotel (nice hotel)
Teneriffe Princess (room lighting was dim, but nice hotel)
St.Anthonys (quite expensive there).
The Cleopatra (expensive again)

Los Christianos we stayed at The Revron Hotel with a pool on the roof. Adult hotel only they don't allow small children to stay.

Hope you have a great time.
