Well, I'd need to know what kind of gecko to give any specific info - there are some that live in the desert, others live in a rainforest - and they have different requirements.

well what type of gecko is it?
most geckos eat crickets and occasionally mealworms, but they don't need to eat often. once a week if it's a baby should do i think.
geckos also need a house to hide in since their nocturnal.
also put it in a glass aquariam type cage with a mesh lid. if it's a desert dwelling gecko, sand in the bottom. also put in a low shallow bowl of water.
