In MLB, a playoff is game played after the regular season has finished but in order to determine who goes on to post-season play. It's considered part of the regular season, so for fantasy purposes, the stats from that game count.
Post-season in MLB refers to the LDS, LCS and WS.
As it's still almost 12 days before pitchers and catchers begin to report for Spring Training, it's far too early to start thinking about post-season predictions.
