Tenerife - is the Paradero apartments in playa Las Americas a good place to stay?

I am going for a week with my girlfriend. Where do you recommend otherwise?

I have stayed at the Vulcano, nice!
I also have stayed at the Tenerife Princess, a bit old now, but the service is good.
