Hi everyone,
Is it possible to descramble tv with a tv tuner card that you use on a computer? don't get the wrong idea thinking that i am up to no good. I pay for my cable internet and I pay for my cable tv.

It is extremely unlikely you will be able to unscramble via a TV tuner card.
Every broadcaster has its own scrambling algorithms which is in a descrambler sold or supplied by the broadcaster.
It is quite unlikely the algorithm is in the TV tuner firmware.

You dont need a tv tuner card to watch tv.

if your talking about a pay channel that you don't get through the cable company then no. they have filters on the phone pole that controls that plus your cable box that send signals to the company telling a particular channel to either come on or stay scrambled.
