Over the last decade London bus drivers have become some of the worst in the world! The new bus lanes let the speed through- and then when they get to a red light they have to brake suddenly- throwing the passengers frorward violently- drives me mad!

As a former bus driver, I would naturally consider myself at the time to be considerate, espaecially with the infirm or parents with young children. But having said that, even within the depots I was based there were some right a**holes who drove like lunatics, and had no time for anyone, not even a smile or thank you.

I travelled to Australia recently and found bus drivers very helpful and considerate, especially when senior citizens are on board.

I do not have any probs with bus driver never had either. I lived in Amsterdam, Dublin, Poznan and right now live in Chicago - Maybe it's just my luck but the majority of all busdrivers seem very nice. They say good morning and even smile!!
