Holy smokes ....every old movie monkey or ape scares me. Planet of the apes was by far the creepiest. There is just something so uncute about monkeys of any sorts. I was at the zoo once and these hanging monkeys were grabbing there balls right in front of my 5 year old I was mortified!!! Oh and lets not forget the scary monkey is chris's closet on family guy....creepy!!!

yes they did. and if I'm really tired watching the movie they give me the creeps still. I remember i was 11 the first time i watch it i was staying with my gram in fl and i had a nightmare of them attacking my feet and i woke up screaming and gram came in and there was a Jun bug in my blanket by my feet. so i got double wrammy that night.

When I was like 5, I was watching that damn movie sitting with my uncle. I had a blanket on my lap... when those scary ugly icky monkeys came flying across the screen. I told my uncle that he had to cover my feet because my toes were scared too!!!

Yeah - and sock monkeys do the same thing....and the toy monkeys that smile as they beat the drum.
Real monkeys are cute - though....and I love Curious George..........
