I agree with you. He's the best punter of all time and doesn't get a call - These voters have no credibility in my book

Well first the voters are writers who never play the game but know it all. As for Ray Guy, he should of been in on his first vote. He is the only punter that I know of that had a big effect on the game. He was the only punter also pick in the first round. But once again the writers don't always know the game.

I believe he should be there because he was the greatest punter I have seen. Ray Guy's punting probably helped the Raiders win a few games just because of the battle of field position. I hope he will be there because he deserves it.

I agree. I grew up watching him punt them into orbit. He should definitely be there. I might be wong, but I think he was the punter that, for a joke, filled a football with helium during pre-game warmups. There are no punters in the HOF and only Jan Stenerud from place kickers. More of them should be there.

I think it's dumb every position should be represented. football is a game of field position and we have seen games lost because of inconsistent punting and ray guy was the most consistent punter of his era. What's up selection committee?

there has never been a punter in the hall of fame some position players also played punter but never a pure punter or mainly a punter is in
