Everyday you see women and men that have child after child. They are alcoholics, neglective, drug users, etc. They are allowed to live off the system while others are struggling to make ends meet, but are trying. DHS ignores their causes, but interferes with families who may be poor, but give children the love every child needs and should get. My opinion is that your rights should be taken away from you because these children are dealing with the consequences for your ignorant, selfish judgment. making a child doesn't make a parent.

Only if this would have began with your parents. Who gets to decide who's parent material and who's not? You and your snotty friends? The government? Billy Graham? What an idiotic thing to think that any person or institution on this earth can be entrusted to make fair and impartial decisions like that for the rest of us.
I've never dealt with DHS, but I'm reasonably sure they don't run around yanking kids out of loving homes because their parents cant afford to buy them a PS3. Any facts and figures to support your assertion or are you just spouting crap?
By the way, you're not the first genius to come up with this idea. The Nazis thought the world would be a better place if the Jews couldn't reproduce as well.

That's a loaded question- i often ask it myself- but then i think- i am a yeller at my kids whenever and wherever we are- if they do wrong they are yelled at for it- i dont hit ever, no less beat but i yell- someone can hear me and say what a horrible mom, and i not, but everyone's opion of "bad" is different. As for drugs mixed with child rearing- my opion- if it's being done while chldren are presesnt (in another rroom, when they are asleep, whatever) if they are in the house and they are haveing parents doing drugs while there, drinking, promiscious sexual activities, no the kids should be removed until all is straightened out.

Like i said loaded question

Totally agree, if you are cruel enough to abuse a precise child there is something severely wrong with you and why give you the right to have more children to hurt, I came from a very abusive home my mother had my sister and I taken away several times then finally for good and 8 yrs later gets herself pregnant, continues the pattern of abuse on my brother, 6 yrs later they finally take him away and we are raising a very hurt little boy that has alot of healing to do, breaks my heart because I was once him!!!!!!!!!!!!

i agree.
there are so many people that can't have kids that really want to, and would make great parents, and then there are others who pop out kids left and right, and don't have the means to support them, or don't care, they are just doing it to collect a welfare check every month.
and then you have crack heads who get knocked up all the time while they are high, and their children end up dieing or living a life of trying to support themselves.
i think that birth control should be made available to anyone on income assistance for free. this way they won't have an excuse for getting pregnant and not wanting their children.

I both agree and disagree. I agree that some should not have the right, but I don't necessarily agree with who should be deprived. I DO think that those that abuse the system should be deprived of the system. And we need better guidelines as to what abuse of that system is.

Those that have children that abuse them or neglect them should, indeed, be sterilized in my opinion. And they should not be allowed to foster or adopt, either. For that matter, they should also not be allowed pets.

You are right, it is not fair for children to be born into those kinds of environments. They should be given a fair chance in life. I agree that some men and women should not have the right to reproduce.

Absolutely! One reason our society doesn't evolve further and faster is we allow dimwits to pump out dozens of kids which they cannot afford, do not push education on adequately and generally teach them to be unhealthy slobs that end up sucking the system dry like their parents.

I Agree, not everyone should have children. It takes alot of patience and love, not everyone can deal with that weather it be male or female.

Yes, I agree in theory but I don't think we should start sterilizing them by force. But yes, there's a ton of people out there that shouldn't be reproducing!!

Morally, I strongly agree, but disagree legally because government has no business regulating behavior in a prophylactic (no pun intended) way.
