What is WRONG with our School Teachers and students these days???

THe New PaperHeadline:TEACHER MADE ME PREGNANT AND MADE ME GO FOR ABORTION (Teacher 27yo,student 16yo)He's MORON and there's no doubt he MUST be punished..As her, at only 16 she behaves/acted like a whore.She must be punished and responsible for her "foolish" acts.
1.He claimed he did love her but was betrayed and being extorted.
2.She has been asking him for money several times and its extortion!.Students/teens nowadays are extremely daring and will do whatever they want (sometimes just to proves a point)This is not the first time these things have happened.So,how exactly safe are our children especially when they do look up to the teachers they trusted as mentors and friends?its really a worrying and scary issue.

After reading the story, I believed it takes two hands to clap. Both party should responsible for their own acts but how true is their story, nobody knows. Nowadays children treat the teachers as their friends and if they have any problem, they hope their teacher to help them to solve for them too. And it is because of this attitude, some teachers take the advantage and created problems like teacher and student love affair.
I feel that the teacher may have a bigger share of responsibilty as they should know what they should do and what they shouldn't do and not starting to the wrong things and then regret later.

For 2 years in a row the National teachers Union at their annual convention was unable to pass the simple resolution that "teachers should not have sex with their students."
That means that the majority of teacher delegates to the convention were unwilling to pass that simple resolution.

Yet at the same convention, Jun 2006, they did pass the resolution that the gay/ lesbian lifestyle should be introduced into every class as a mainstream family choice beginning at the kindergarten level this year.

In the 1960`s the Catholic Church relaxed the standards for admitting priests and nuns into the Church in an effort to boost the dwindling ranks. The result was an influx of Pedophiles, Lesbians and gay men entering the rolls. That position of authority gave them access to impressionable youths, children. The parents were blinded and trusting.

Is there a correlation? You be the judge.

Italian Communist Antonio Gramsci; Academics of the University of California, Berkeley formed a cult around him in the 1970`s. He was an innovator in Marxist theory. His ideas focused on acquiring cultural hegemony as a fulcrum to revolutionary change. Foremost among these means of change were the slow and quiet take over of first the Universities and then the Media. Gramsci explicitly urged the radicals to gain control of the "means of cultural production", the educational system. "The Marxist conquest of universities, schools, the news media, entertainment, tax-exempt foundations, and other key institutions".. Once in the Universities as faculty then they gain control of its hiring and tenure committees. All the while
turning young impressionable minds away from love of country and into lovers of socialism. Lower the standards and teach the political message through political correctness. Corrupt the morals and eliminate the moral fabric that holds the country together. Take over the teaching colleges that produce the teachers.
Herbert Marcuse, Marxis professor, philosopher, and sociologist at Columbia University and Harvard, then at Brandeis University , also recommended this route to power in his famous essay "Repressive Tolerance". It recommended also "intolerance of the protagonist and repression of the status quo". In other words the blacklisting of Professors of Conservative view points and the hiring of, in their place, only those of the Left. This would be done in the name of equality and freedom of thought. The same argument would be used to justify rewriting of all text material and replacing it with a political correct vocabulary and mind set.

I AM NOT SAYING THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED. HOWEVER THIS IS WHAT THEY SAID THEY WANTED TO DO.

I have watched our educational system since 1970 drop from #1 in the world to 34th in 2000. I have watched the dismantling of our old teaching methods replaced by new progressive systems. To the point that it is not recognizable from when I went to school in 1967. I have watched the introduction of diversity and tolerance etc. and the elimination of classes and discipline. I`ve seen Modern math, Ebonics, and honor rolls that mean nothing. I have also watched the rewrite of almost everything by our educational elite.
