The doctor said possible miscarriage or false pregnancy or nothing at all, 80 percent chance of miscarriage, I have bleeding and cramping like a period. I go for more blood work in two days to measure HCG level I'm only at I think he said 459, if it isn't at least doubled by Monday the baby isn't growing, it might be a tubal pregnancy also, but it's too early to tell. Has anyone else had this happen to them if so what happened, did you have a healthy baby, did you miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy?

I'm goin to say this first off you're in our thoughts I've been in your shoes of not knowing. My first 4 pregnancies was miscarriages and i thought this one was the same when i started to bleed. Just take it easy keep friends close by keep your feet up and watch up beat movies. I know the worries but right now the not knowing if you're miscarring or not needs to be seen as i need to do what's going to be healthy for yourself right at the moment. If the cramping gets worse then i suggest going back to the ER and requesting another doc. GL.

Unfortunately my story didn't have a good outcome. I miscarried last weekend at 6 weeks pregnant with my first baby. I was devastated. I had your symptoms and also had Beta HCG blood work carried out. This was done every 48 hours for a week and showed my HCG levels falling rapidly and they are now under 5.0. Fortunately, because they dropped so rapidly, it showed that I did not have a tubal pregnancy and in fact meant that my body was expelling the pregnancy correctly. This meant that I did not need a D&C. As devastating and upsetting that this was, Im glad it happened now rather than later and want to try again as soon as possible. My fingers and toes are crossed for you hoping with all my heart that your pregnancy will be fine, bleeding and cramping can happen in early pregnancy and doesn't always mean miscarriage. All my love... :>)

When I was 6 weeks pregnant, I had bleeding and cramping as well. I went to the ER and they checked my HCG levels, did a pelvic exam and finally an ultrasound. They told me that if my cervix was open at all, then it would mean miscarriage and nothing could be done, but mine was closed. On the ultrasound we saw the heartbeat, which was reassuring. They sent me home, diagnosing me with a 'threatened miscarriage' and a high chance of losing the baby within the next couple of weeks. I am now 23 weeks pregnant with a baby boy and everything looks great. So have hope and be sure to rest. If your levels are continuing to rise, I would ask for an ultrasound to give you piece of mind that they baby is okay.

This happened to me. They did an u/s to see if it was an ectopic or tubal pregnancy. It wasn't. I'm not sure why they didn't do that for you. I was only 5-6 wks pregnant and they could tell it wasn't a tubal pregnancy. They told me I had a "threatened miscarriage" and I lost my baby that night. I'm sorry, but my guess is that you are having a miscarriage. Take care of yourself.

Best thing to do is wait till you retest. that will tell you for sure because the doc is right you should be doubling every 2 days if not you drop then you are miscarring. With the bleeding and cramping stay off your feet straight bed rest ,,,
Honestly though you can NOT stop a miscarraige and that is what this sounds like if it were a tubal you would be having sharp pains with bleeding and cramping the sharp pains being on one side ....

Yes,this sorta happened to me..With this pregnancy i was 6 weeks and was bleeding *it wasnt heavy but it was there everytime i wiped and i had checked myself and more than spotting amount of blood came out. so,i went to the ER they did blood work, they checked for infections,none...Then they sent me for ultrasound..My heart almost stopped beating because i could have sworn i was miscarrying, the u/s was checking me and i couldnt see the screen, she stayed in one place on my tummy for a while and told me to take a deep breath to see if there was a heartbeating, next thing i know she turned the screen towards me and showed me my little tiny babies heartbeating in his/her chest,i almost cried..she said everything looked normal and that the bleeding was no threat to the baby..now keep in mind i was 1 week further than you *so i was able to see my baby at 6 weeks,5 weeks is sometimes still too early*the er doc put me on bedrest..i stayed on bedrest for 2 weeks and the bleeding stopped completely..i am now 14 1/2 weeks pregnant and had my first ultrasound the other day....just think positive,i was also told it was a threatened miscarriage, but it was not...dont stress yourself...i suggest u lie down and place yourself on bedrest until the bleeding stops like mine did...its the best thing u can do for your baby right now, good luck!

If this doctor really suspected a miscarrage or tubal, he would had done an ultrasound right there. Why make you wait the weekend without knowing? Either he really doesn't think it's much, or you're hearing the worse case scenario and building it in your head as what's going on. Hang in there. I would say "don't worry" that that would be stupid. I'm miscarried twice, and thought I was losing my last one at 8 weeks. She's now 14 months old & a trouble maker. Hang in there!

nicely if the blood grew to become into brownish and not blood pink, it would desire to have been left over blood out of your era. I experienced that once i grew to become into 11 weeks. My dr stated some women individuals only pass something of their leftover era. in case you're actually not bleeding like a era you will possibly desire to be superb. in the adventure that your dr didnt look to worried then i could only pray. Im particular all would be superb.

Don't give up hope. I was in my 13th week and started bleeding profusely and cramping. They sent me home, said I would just have to wait it out. Turned out to be partial placenta previa which corrected itself. It was a very scary time. My son is now 5 yrs old.
