It's pretty dependent on the individual department, as well as the students themselves.

Look at the school's course catalog to see if you like those courses. Pick the one you're interested in, not what will be most impressive to med schools.

It's hard enough getting into med schools no matter what your major is. Do yourself a favor and pick the one that interests you most. If you like it, you tend to do better (or at least put in more effort). Just worry about taking the required courses for med school in terms of "preparation".

Being a science major (a biology major/forensic scientist one) I've been dabbling in all three...And I know a lot of people who've completed those courses and it seems to be completely based on personal preference.
I've never noticed that there is a preference towards any one of the three. I'm sure that doesn't seem to help much. All I can say, is that before you choose, look into each topic a little bit and see which one jumps out at you.
And keep in mind, if you decide you don't like the major you chose at first, it's not the end of the world to change your degree. Especially if you're looking at staying within the larger area of biology.
As far as which one is best for pre-med. They all have their pros and cons. But if you look into what's actually necessary for pre-med you'd be shocked. It's really, really basic sciences that most people can cover within their first two years. So just keep things diverse and always, always talk to an advisor throughout your time in college. They'll help you prepare for the MCAT and med-school applications.
