I heard from a friend that there was an episode of southpark which the characters were drawn anime style. I've looked around for it but I just can't seem to find it. Anyone have any idea which episode it is?

It's the episode where the boys buy ninja weapons from some guy at the carnival. They end up facing "Captain Chaos" and of course Butters gets really hurt. When they are all fighting, it's their imagination, which shows them in anime. But they don't want to get into trouble so they try to dress Butters up like a dog, to take him to the vet. You have to see the episode, because it's so funny and the end makes me laugh every time!

"Good Times With Weapons." I sincerely doubt someone would describe "Make Love Not Warcraft" as "anime style."
It was still animated the same way as all the other episodes, they were just proportioned like characters from something like Fist of the North Star or Dragonball Z.

Make Love not Warcraft had them as CGI characters. I guess they used actual video game footage and it looked like anime. There was also Good Times with Weapons from a few season back where they all got into martial arts. That's more anime, but I think your friend means MLNW since that was more recent.
