First of all, we have "the second power divided by 2".
That is 2 divided by 2, which is 1.
Now we have 5 to the 1 power, which is 5.
Then, it is 2 * (5) * 2, which is 2 times 5 times 2.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Or maybe it is this:
First, 5 to the second power = 5 times 5 = 25
Then 25 divided by 2 = 12.5
Then 2 * (12.5) * 2 = 50

Do you mean that the term in parenthesis is five squared divided by two [ (5^2)/2 ] or that the square is divided by two [ 5^ (2/2) ]? They would result in different answers.

it depends! if you are asking .... 2*[ (5^2)/2 ]*2.... then you would get 50. BUT if you ment that the question is ....2*[ 5^(2/2) ]*2.... then you would get 20. Now i did not really get your wuestion, therefore i gave those two ansers :)
