The best thing about math is that it stimulates the ability to think in a different way. This can help a person be more open-minded when it comes to other situations in life.

No. It's great to know math for our daily activities. For example, when preparing a dish from a recipe, I sometimes have to scale each ingredient by a certain factor to make the quantity of food that I want. It's nice being able to do this in my head instead of relying on a calculator. I also find myself mentally totaling up purchases while I'm shopping at stores because sometimes the scanner doesn't necessarily take off the correct discounts. I can let the cashier know right away whether or not the total is correct. I think people who know math tend to be logical and are able to make better decisions.

I think by "lewsers" you mean losers, and no. Math is really important in life, I wish I had more of a knack for it!

If math is for losers, then nobody graduated high school, because graduating high school is a form of accomplishment, or "winning".
