What kind of a person would seek attention but not want it anymore once he or she gets it? Not saying that's how I feel, by the way.

My adult daughter before she married best described herself to me as being that way when she said "The challenge was over".

If you aren't used to getting attention then you might feel a little bit uncomfortable with it. Trust me my sister gets all the attention in the world, but you know I guess that's ok because I get to find myself while annoying people batter my sister to death.

It may not be that they dont want it, they maybe just dont want it from the person they are getting it from
