Optometry schools or ...?

Is the only way of becoming an optometrist by going to an optometry school? Because i have a daughter and the closes pharmacy school is in Pa which is too far so i would have to move and leave her behind to live with my parents until i would graduate....

You mean closest optometry school? Yes, there aren't that many in the US. If that's what you want to do, it sounds like you'll have to move.
