I suggest going to your public library and checking out books that tell you how to do that. They should have several books on how to get your manuscript published. And they probably list all sorts of websites too. Good luck.

Do not have it read by a teacher. Why? Teachers usually teach the subject in which they were interested, but not good enough to make it big. TRUST ME!!
But get a friend to read it. Also, what type of book is it it? If it is fantasy, get a fantasy book and see who the publisher was. Send it. But have proof that it was yours.
If it's historical fiction, get a historical fiction book, etc. Never give up. Keep sending it to publishers. Get a beta who will fix any grammar mistakes, but do not let them take charge. It is /your/ book, not theirs.

Seek out the web site of a guy called Matt Riley (maybe miss spelled) as he is the only self published author I have read.
His were adventure stories, but it worked for him and I'm sure the process is the same.
It tells me you don't HAVE to have a publisher, just faith.

Thats a really good question, however I dont know tha answer, but before you do anything, make a copy of the novel, sign it, mail it to your self and keep it safe incase anywhere along the way someone/business steals it from you before its copyrighted it will serve as proof as being your work, since it will be postmarked before someone else can copyright it. Then I would start submitting it for publication.

well talk to your parents/friends grandma if its any good. But also check with others Cause u don't want pity... if they say yes then i would probably mail it to a publishing company....Like the publishers of "Eragon" then you just wait.....its a long process then you have your first novel!

I think you just send it in to a publisher.. and then they read it. If they like it they will publish it. If not, then maybe you should focus on other things such as your school work.

Copyright it first. Get a website and publish it yourself.

Based on the grammar usage you have displayed in your question, I wouldn't worry too much about getting it published if I were you.

Have it read by a teacher or some disinterested party--some one who won't tell you it is brilliant just because they are your mother. Then, find yourself an agent--don't leave home without one! Oh yes, and keep your day job.
