What movie is this fight scene from?

I think its a late 70s early 80s film. The scene i remember involves a black guy & a white guy, if i remember correct, they're both bald. The scene takes place near a lakeshore/seashore, because it ends with one of them grabbing an outboard motor and cuttin the other up! Its not a 'gore' movie, the scene just shows blood spatter on the wall, then cuts to another scene.

The Deep (1977).

One of those 2 guys was Robert Tessier, who played Shokner on The Longest Yard (1974). Tessier is usually bald, but in this movie he had a bit of light grey hair. The black guy was Lou Gossett's thug.
